Little bit about the founder
Brain Sprints represents the culmination of more than 25 years of neurodevelopmental education expertise of its founder, Dr. Jan Bedell. As a mother of a child with learning disabilities, Dr. Jan has first-hand experience of the challenges that parents go through as a result of their child’s condition. She started her career in neurodevelopmental education in 1995. She earned her Master Neurodevelopment list status from the International Association of Neurodevelopmental Education in 2004, a master’s degree in Special Education in 2008 from Texas Tech University, and Doctorate in Education in 2014 from Magister University. Dr. Jan’s decades of experience in education combined with mastery of the neurodevelopmental approach create great opportunities for children reach their brain’s full potential.
Dr. Jan has successful developed many brain exercises since she started to practice neurodevelopmental education. She introduces drug-free cognitive skills training in the Dallas area that are aimed to enhance learning without unpleasant side effects. Her goal is to provide a myriad of engaging and stimulating mental activities that children with slow learning processes will enjoy and learn valuable cognitive skills from.
By nourishing minds using the right cognitive skill exercises, Dr. Jan empowers children to hone their skills in a therapeutic manner. She founded Brain Sprints to provide children an encouraging setting to sharpen their minds without the use of prescription drugs that may carry serious side effects.
